Down for Maintenance!

Poptropica is down for maintenence! Yo uare probably wondering why I am excited, but that means they are changing something! It hasn't beeen down since the store was released! Its got to be something big! If you want to play, click this link. If you click it, a weird version of Potropica pops up, but you can still play. I don't see any changes so far, though. In the source code, it says, "The site should be back up by 10 AM U.S. Eastern time." I'll let you know when its back up! Also, this blog might have a couple of new blog authors, Johnny and Cheerful Ring! They will probably officially join soon. Enjoy, and good luck!

New Side Ads

I should define the difference between side ads and side ads. Maybe side ads should be called "Side Screen Ads", and side ads should be called "Game Side Ads". Sorry about that. Me being blonde :D Anywho, there are two new ads for the Air Bud: Golden Receiver, and an ad for Poptropica Membership. Here's the ad for Air Bud: Golden Receiver.

RTV Shuffleboard

A new post on RTV by Hazmat Hermit. You can tell its RTV because, its a game, and it has RTV Characters on the coins. It also BTW just looks like it is RTV. It sounds like a good game. Well, see you Monday, hopefully.

More Membership Details

There is another post on the PCB about this new membership, supposedly to be "Coming Out Very Soon!" LOL. It is supposed to give us more details about the membership, and answer any questions we have. My question is, "When will RTV come out?". LOL. Well, thats it.

Honey Nut Cheerios Ad

There is a new ad on Poptropica for the new "Honey Defender" game. (I didn't like the game) There is no mission, though. Just a costume of Buzz.

This ad was the first one to appear on Counterfeit Island, but also a sucky ad. Well, thats all I got. Bye!

Poptropica Membership?

WTF? is probably what you're thinking, right? Well, you could also be thinking that Disney or Club Penquin is taking over Poptropica, or even that now you have to pay to play. But you don't. The membership just allows you to get unlimited store items, automatic early access, and more. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GET IT! Gosh. Some people.... Anyway, erm, new post on PCB...

If you watch the video, you can notice that it has 1: A bird from RTV, 2: A poster for RTV and a Early Access ticket, and 3: A statue from MI. It sounds good to me. Are you getting the membership when it releases? Also, remeber the new links page? Well, da creators put three more links on it, including a "New Island Notice".

New Store Items

Hey Guys! There's two new costumes in the store today! A link to the Avatar Studio (OMG LAME!) and the American Football Player Outfit. The Avatar Studio is horrible, but its free, while the Football player has 4 different colors, and has a football you can throw! (I'm kidding. All you can do is toss it into da air.) The football is the same as the one you can get if you press Ctrl+Shft+R until you get it. Also, I noticed that there are two new side ads, for the Win a laptop, give a laptop thing.

Meet the Minotaur!

Awesome! More Mythology Island! And another post by Hades! I wonder what the Poptropica-version of the Minotaur is... Do you notice the font? Its different then all posts ever on the PCB. Even Creator Hade's first post! This is so cool! Unfortunately, this island may not be released. Because lots of people are complaining about Mythology Island because of their religion, the creators probably wouldn't make a new island thats offensive to some religions, and not liked by people. All we can do is hope for this new island. For me, I frikin love this island! We're studying Mythology in school, and its awesome! I hope you think the same!

Counterfeit Island Wallpaper

Awesome! There is a new wallpaper on the PCB, for CI! This post was made right after I made the last post, and I didn't see this post til' now, so sorry I'm late! The creators are getting busy! I hope they keep this busy-ness. It'd be nice.... Anyway, see you soon!

Mythology Island?

There's a new post on the PCB. Agian. Yay! It shows Hades, and another Greek person-thing. If you click on the picture, you can see its titled mythologyChars, just like other islands. Remember, astroChars,realityChars, and counterChars? This means the island is called Mythology Island, and it asks what kind of island do you think this is. Hmmm....let me guess, mythology? LOL. There's been a lot of Mythology Island Sneak Peaks, so maybe RTV will be held back again...*cries and runs off in the distance* Maybe there will be another RTV one soon. Anyway, MI and RTV both sound awesome. I'm starting to lose faith in my prediction that it will be based on Ancient Olympics, with my ideas based on that poll, bla bla bla. See you soon, hopefully.

New Multiplayer Rooms?

Yes, the title says it all. There is a glitch on Poptropica that tells us that "New multiplayer Rooms Opening Soon!" It only appears on Early Poptropica, so maybe there will only be new multiplayer rooms on EP, but maybe later there will be new ones on Shark Tooth, then later Time Tangeled, and so on. Either way, its pretty cool. Here's a screenie.


Here's how to do it. At the top of your window, when logged on Poptropica and on Early Poptropica, click Page, then find Zoom, then click 150%. Now if you look at Poptropica and scroll down, you see a blue box, click on it, and it says, bla bla bla. You might also notice your poptropica screen is bigger, so if you go back to zoom, click 400%, now you should have full screen poptropica. You may now also go to different islands. WARNING: YOU MAY EXPERIENCE TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES. It won't affect your account, but your screen. Its temporary, you can remove it by going back to zoom, and clicking 100%. Now, its back to normal. Enjoy!

EDIT: Since this is only on Early Poptropica, it might have been put there before the Arcade and Soda Pop Shop opened up. So, this might not mean new Multiplayer rooms.

New Greek Island?

This is so cool! Hades! Its just sick! And, it says Hades is coming from the underworld to see how the new island is coming along, either meaning this is a RTV sneak peak and he's part of a unknown future island TBA, or a sneak peak of another new island after RTV. Either way, awesome! I'm thinking its a new island, and I think its a greek island, noticing the greek god, and statue. And do you remember the poll in Fall 2008, that asked what kind of island do we like, and a survival island was picked, leading to RTV, and second was an olympic island, so maybe its an island for the Greek olympics? So, here's the Upcoming Island schedule...

Reality TV Island - Early 2010
Greek/Olympic/Mythology Island - Summer 2010/Fall 2010

Also, the words Animadverto vos nunc in the post mean "see you soon" Notice that statue, its a statue of Medusa before she became ugly. I think on the other side of the room there is a statue of Medusa, being ugly.. XD.

A new greek island? I thought we just had a french-themed island, now a greek/mythology-themed island? What next, a canadian or chinese island?
